Beau Vista Pōhara is located just two mins drive (or a 15 min walk) to Pōhara beach, restaurants and shops. The long warm sandy beach is the warmest and safest in the Bay as it is gently sloping with a huge tidal range. This makes it ideal for children who love playing in the water and making sandcastles.
Our restaurants and bars are very popular with locals and visitors alike, including Molly B's, Ratanui Lodge and the Nikau Cafe & Bar. There is even Aroha Health Spa for massages and relaxation.
Close by are tennis courts, a slipway suitable for launching small boats, and spectacular limestone cliffs popular with rock-climbers. Just a few minutes drive along Abel Tasman Drive is Tarakohe Port and marina with a launching ramp for boats, the golden sands of Tata Beach and Ligar Bay, a nine-hole golf course, and Takaka township for shopping.
